Starting Point

The starting point of the tour depends whether you want us to pick you up from your apartment/hotel etc.. If thats the case the tour starts whenever we will pick you up. If you don´t want us to pick you up we will within the historic centre of the city. Remember that you can coordinate your pick up with us in advance.

We will pick you up at your apartment/hotel etc. at around 0800 am every morning and 02:00 pm (14:00) every afternoons

Itinerary

We will pick you up at your apartment/hotel etc. at around 0800 am every morning and 02:00 pm (14:00) every afternoons From there we will head to the principal main square to visit Catedral and them Qorikancha temple of the sun, a holy place which was dedicated to worship the cult of the sun. It´s  architecture is so impressive that the spanish colonizers decided to build a catholic cathedral on top of it, which today is know as the cathedral of „Santo Domingo“.

Later we will navigate to four archeological sites which lay nearby the city: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay. Here you will learn more about the unique style of architecture, the art of construction and the technique that the incas implemented in their constructions.

• Bring footwear which is suited for longer walks and has a good grip

• In general, the climate in Cusco is dry and cold, which means that a good jacket is always helpful. The season of rain in Cusco lasts from November until march. If you decide to visit during this time, bring waterproof clothing with you
