Itinerary Inca Jungle Tour to Machu Picchu 4d/3n.

Day 1: Cusco - Abra Málaga - Huamanmarka - Santa María:

We will start the Inca Jungle Tour at 7:30 a.m. with the pick up from the hotel. We will leave in a mini van (mobility) heading to the Sacred Valley, crossing the towns of Chinchero, Urubamba, Ollantaytambo; towns that belong to the Sacred Valley. Then we will arrive at Abra Málaga (4316 m.s.n.m. or 14160 feet), where we will be able to appreciate the majestic snow-capped Huacay Willca (Verónica). From this place we will begin our descent by bicycle, which lasts 3 hours, passing through different ecological zones such as: Puna and cloud forests (both contain an immense range of flora and fauna). We will finish the trip by bicycle at the archaeological remains of HuamanMarq’a, specifying our route in the town of Santa María, where we will have our delicious lunch (approx. 1200 m.s.n.m. or 3937 feet). Later you can do the activity of canoeing in the Urubamba River, which lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes. We will spend the first night in a hostel in Santa María.

Day 2: Santa María - Qellomayo - Hot Springs - Santa Teresa:

After a delicious breakfast, we will start the walk to the town of Santa Rosa (approx. 1 hour), traveling the ancient Inca Trail (Qhapaq Ñan). From this place, we will see birds such as: parrots, hummingbirds, eagles and the Coca, coffee, yucca plantations, fruit trees (orange, mango, banana).We will have a break and talk in the town of Pispitayuc, where we can relax. Restarting the walk, you will appreciate beautiful and impressive landscapes of the Vilcabamba mountain range, which will have the town of Qellomayo as the end point. In this place we will have lunch and start the last part of the walk, passing through the thermal baths of Cocalmayo (optional visit) and arriving at the town of Santa Teresa. We will spend the night in this small town.

Day 3: Santa Teresa - Hydroelectric - Aguas Calientes:

After a good breakfast, on the third day we will have the opportunity to do the zip line activity "We run in the air over the Andean mountains". This activity lasts approximately two hours. Later. We head uphill for 2-3 hours towards Llactapata Pass (2,736m / 8,974ft), where we come across a distant but spectacular view of the Machu Picchu Sanctuary from the southeast, a sight that few travelers have the opportunity to admire. We take a short break to explore the Llactapata ruins, which have been recently restored. We arrived at the Hydroelectric Village "Town of the Train Station", we continued walking along the railway to Aguas Calientes also known as Machupicchu Town (approx. 3 hours) to Aguas Calientes, the town of Machu Picchu.

Day 4: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Ollantaytambo - Cusco:

 At 4:00 a.m. and after breakfast, we will begin our walk towards the citadel of Machu Picchu for an average of one hour. At the entrance to the Inca citadel, you will show your entrance ticket to start with a guided tour of approximately two hours. After the guided tour, you will have free time to explore Machu Picchu on your own and climb Huayna Picchu (optional, it must be reserved in advance). In addition to other places such as: the Inca Bridge and the Puerta del Sol. At the end of our expedition in Machu Picchu, we will descend to take our train to Ollantaytambo, where the mobility that will take you to Cusco will await us.
