Located southeast of the city of Cusco, in the Vilcanota mountain range, there is a mountain that takes all eyes for its appearance and the colors that compose it, we speak of Vinincunca also called mountain of 7 colors or Rainbow mountain with an altitude of 5200 meters above sea level. Our tour will take approximately 5 hours, the road demands physical demand but at the end we will find a wonderful image that will remain forever in our minds.

To start our tour and as part of our service we will pick you up at your hotel, in case your hotel is outside the city remember that it is possible to coordinate your pick up with us in advance.

Itinerary

We will pick you up at your apartment/hotel etc. at around 2pm (14:00). From there we will head to Qorikancha, a holy place which was dedicated to worship the cult of the sun. It´s  architecture is so impressive that the spanish colonizers decided to build a catholic cathedral on top of it, which today is know as the cathedral of „Santo Domingo“.

Later we will navigate to four archeological sites which lay nearby the city: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay. Here you will learn more about the unique style of architecture, the art of construction and the technique that the incas implemented in their constructions.

Not Included

  •  Entrance to Vinincunca Mountain (S/. 15.00 for Peruvians, S/. 25.00 for foreigners).
Recommendations
  • Always carry with you all your identification documents.
  • For your comfort, carry a small backpack with only what is strictly necessary.
  • Choose comfortable footwear, preferably walking shoes.
  • In general, the weather in Cusco is dry and cold, so a good jacket will never be too much. Remember that the rainy season in Cusco is from November to March.
  • The agency is not responsible for material losses or accidents.
  • During the tour it´s recommended to eat light food, fruits, cookies. It´s also very important to bring your own water bottle to avoid littering.
  • It´s important that you appear to the chosen Tour, because if you don´t show up, the service will be considered as done without any refunds or claims.
