It is located south of the city of Cusco, with a wonderful view of the Ausangate, we find three colorful mountains and a forest of stones. To get here will take us about 3 hours by car approximately and 45 minutes of light hiking that does not demand much demand, or physical effort.

To start our tour and as part of our service we will pick you up at your hotel, in case your hotel is outside the city remember that it is possible to coordinate your pick up with us in advance.

Intinerary

The tour starts the moment we pick you up from your accommodation at 04:00 a.m. and we will travel to the south of the city. We will be accompanied by a beautiful view of mountains, valleys and rivers.

We will travel to Checacupe, where we will have our breakfast and then head to Palccoyo, here we will hike up to 5000 meters above sea level in a light hike, which does not demand much physical demand for 45 minutes, to find a privileged view of Ausangate and the panorama of multicolored mountains and an amazing forest of stones.

After enjoying the beautiful scenery, we will back to our transportation to return to Cusco city.

  • For your comfort, carry a small backpack with only what is strictly necessary.
  • Choose comfortable footwear, preferably walking shoes.
  • In general, the weather in Cusco is dry and cold, so a good jacket will never be too much. Remember that the rainy season in Cusco is from November to March.
